From Marathoner to Entrepreneur, Speaker, Trainer

Uta was introduced to athletics at 13, became a professional runner at 17, and passed her final exams (Physikum) as a medical student at the Freie Universität in the unified Berlin in 1994. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, she ran the Boston Marathon that stood for freedom in her mind, followed with three consecutive wins ’94, ‘95, ’96, the New York City and three Berlin Marathon victories, with the 1990 “Reunification Marathon.” She is a 2-time Olympian, former half marathon world record holder, ranked #1-woman marathon runner in the world ’94, ’95.


Now her passion is to share her knowledge of never giving up, going the extra mile, and the importance of recovery.
